A raft is an inflatable, unsinkable boat, paddled and led by a qualified guide. Both playful and sporty, it allows a great moment of conviviality. You will sail on the Ubaye river, one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe for white water sports! Expect a succession of impressive rapids, which will follow one after the other without any false note. Your guide will be with you to steer the boat, and he knows the river like the back of his hand!
THE route from Le Martinet to Le Lauzet (class 4 & 5), about 10 km of navigation, offers you varied and sumptuous landscapes. You will cross the Lauzet gorges, pass under the old stone bridges of Roman origin. This canyon landscape is truly unique, it offers exactly the right width to allow your boat to pass... An essential experience for anyone visiting Ubaye.
Finally, if you want to surpass your limits, we also offer the sports course: "the former impassables of the top". (Not available for sale online, but by telephone reservation at +33 4 92 81 92 03). This is a fantastic and formidable course, where every paddle stroke must be skillfully executed! Accessible only for a second experience, 16 years old minimum and for seasoned athletes!

Procedure
We will welcome you at the base of Rapid'Eau Park to introduce you to your guide. Once the introductions have been made, he will provide you with all the equipment necessary for the activity (shoes & full neoprene suit, life jacket and helmet).
You can leave all your belongings at the base under our supervision and leave by bus with your guide and the rest of the crew.
Once arrived, your guide will give you a briefing to prepare you for the descent, give you all the instructions to have a great time.
Are you ready ! Make way for adventure, an hour and a half of navigation on a tumultuous river awaits you...
After the descent, return by shuttle to the base where you will have at your disposal, hot showers and sauna. And if you feel like it, you can enjoy the good products from the snack bar.

FAQs
Absolutely ! You will find on site a snack bar serving quality catering based on local products. This is located in a small shady clearing where you can eat. Nearby, pétanque court and Mölkky games for digestion!
No, we will provide you with all the necessary equipment for the practice of your activity and this includes neoprene socks and shoes. You will be equipped from head to toe.

It is recommended to arrive 10 minutes before the meeting time fixed during your reservation. Indeed, the time of the appointment which was communicated to you is that of the beginning of the equipment and not that of the beginning of the activity.
However, you are asked to arrive a few minutes early to give you time to go to reception so that we can explain the course of the activity to you as well as to read the guide who will be with you during the activity.
Your activity includes a navigation time of approximately 1h30 for a total duration of 2h30 including equipment time, shuttle, briefing...
So add 2h30 to the meeting time of your activity to know the time at which you can leave the base. It may happen that an activity takes a slight delay, but this never exceeds 30 minutes.

You can actually come to the base with your dog as long as he is on a leash. However, you will not be able to take animals with you during the activities.
It will then be necessary for a relative to keep the dog for you during the time of the activity.
You will find a place to water your animal on site, but please remember to take bags with you for the droppings.
This is an activity reservation that will be confirmed by us. During your pre-reservation, you communicate to us the ideal time slot to carry out your activity, and we confirm to you on the day of your online order (during our office hours) our availability for this time slot.
The only formula we offer for online booking is that of pre-booking. This has the advantage of saving you time compared to a traditional reservation by telephone.

Yes quite. If following your pre-booking, we had to make you a counter proposal concerning the time slot of your activity, and it did not suit you, for whatever reason. We will refund you in full and immediately for the activity concerned, on the means of payment used to finalize your pre-reservation.
